Shame about the bottle
My very fine hair loves the combination of this shampoo and K18 conditioner. My hair has more body and looks healthier. However, the consistency of the shampoo is a very thick gel which makes it extremely difficult to dispense from the bottle. I stood the bottle upside down to see if this would help but the shampoo leaks from the bottle so unfortunately, I won’t buy again unless the packaging is changed.

New name for the Peptide Prep Maintenance Shampoo
This is just a new name for the maintenance shampoo (new name, same formula) they have changed the name so it matches the new conditioner. I actually preferred the old name, but back to the product. If you only want to buy one K18 shampoo I would buy the K18 detox shampoo - that is my favourite shampoo ever and I use it whenever I use the K18 treatment. However, I think this is an excellent regular / maintenance shampoo and compliments the K18 system. After use my hair felt clean and soft - I don’t know what to say other than it being a great shampoo, but like I said before if you want to make the most of your K18 treatments and don’t want to buy both shampoos buy the detox one. If you can afford both this compliment your K18 hair routine.

Hair started falling out after use
I looked on Reddit to see why I was suddenly experiencing so much hair fall out and seems lots of people have been using K18 correctly and having hair loss. I also used K18 mask and has made everything worse. Kept double checking to see I was applying it correctly but this hasn't changed anything. Sticking to olaplex

I dont really get this brand, it maybe has some behind it and would work long run but they way they are popping new products after claiming that all you need is mask to restore everything I don't really trust these claims anymore, I have stopped using olaplex and I believe it was harming more than addressing issues I am happier that I have stopped following this rabbit hole of damage repaire bond building marketing
