Developed by the skincare experts at Dr Sturm, this glow-boosting moisturiser is made with extracts of magnolia and African whitewood, which help to provide hydration while also regulating the flow of sebum and refining the pores.
Lumicol helps promote a natural-looking radiance while evening out the complexion and reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation. In addition, purslane and telovitin work to minimise the signs of ageing.
When Dr. Barbara Sturm first developed the Darker Skin Tones line, it was because she identified both the specific dermatological needs of more melanin-active skin and the absence of any highly effective skincare regime to address those needs. Prefer the anti-aging moisturizer.
I do like the moisturizer, however, I strongly prefer the anti-aging moisturizer and will buy that again. The anti-aging moisturizer is definitely for me, more hydrating.

Amazing for the warmer months
I only use Dr. Sturm products I have been on a Barbra Sturm regimen for almost 3 years as I take the supplements as well and I have recently been using the darker skin, dawn line and mostly I always purchased the darker skin tones, face cream, rich, but they were out of stock, so I happily purchased the regular darker skin tones, face cream And I do have to say I notice a difference in the consistency. This one is a bit more emollient than the darker skin tones, face cream that is rich so those with extremely dry skin, I would definitely recommend waiting for the darker skin tones, face cream, rich to come back into stock, or when it is, it is one of the best face creams ever . This is one of the best face creams ever as well, especially for those summer months, and especially when I would put on this darker skin tones, face cream, and then apply the Dr. Sturm SPF sun drops and I think that if I would. Have had the rich formula along with applying the sun drops it would have been a bit too much hydration, so this is perfect for the summer months although the next time I purchase, I will be purchasing the darker skin tones, face cream, rich, because I have the most extremely dry skin in the world and that just helps the dryness on my skin so much from the inside out!

First time User
I have recently begun to purchase Dr. Sturm’s products so it may be too soon to give informed review. However I’m a woman of color with medium brown skin. As a more mature woman, I’ve tried many products over the years. Dr. Sturm’s dark skin line is the first that leaves my skin soft to the touch after the first use. I am experimenting with all the products, not just those for dark skin, and will weigh in again in a few months, particularly the anti-aging serums and moisturizers.

New to Dr. Sturm Products
I’ve been gradually building my Dr. Sturm skin product collection. I started with the anti aging serum then purchased the mist after getting a sample with my serum. I am only giving 4 stars right now as I’m still a neophyte. But thus far I’m enjoying the extravagance of experimenting with these products. I will say my face does (after only about a week of using the products) feel smoother. I do enjoy the face mist and it’s great for cooling down my sporadic hot flashes. My sister jokingly said to me I could spritz water on my face and get the same effect. But I countered with I tried that route and my skin felt awful and dry. That does not happen with Dr. Sturm’s mist. To the contrary, my skin feels refreshed and soft. I will check in again after using the cream a bit longer. But so far, even in spite of the costs, which are high, I’m a happy customer. It’s just one of the ways I treat myself…
