No noticeable results
I really wanted this to work as generally speaking Kate Somerville products have never disappointed me. I used this religiously to fade my breakout scars but I can't say it made any really difference and I gave it a good 2 months for it to have an effect.

So far so good
I haven’t been using this long but so far I am liking it! It it obviously too early to see if it does what it says but I haven’t had any sort of reaction etc. I have found of all KS’s products are really good and worth paying the little bit extra for!

This works for me!
I get the odd hormonal (often large) spot and the spots take a long time to fade. As others have said, this product is quite medicinal smelling but I am pretty pleased with the results. I think it is quite expensive full price (hence the four stars), but I only use it on the affected area(s) so it will last a long time. The spots are definitely fading faster than normal - I've been using it every day for about 4 days and I do think it makes a difference. I used this alongside the EradiKate products to help clear up the blemishes (which I've also reviewed) and do recommend! No adverse reaction despite having sensitive skin.

Wouldn’t repurchase
So for a salicylic acid and niacinamide serum this is quite expensive. I bought it due to having persistent marks from spots that wouldn’t fade and the reviews were glowing. However it doesn’t work as well as I hoped it would. It smells very strong and medicinal and doesn’t sit well under other serums and makeup for me. It took repeated use to notice any difference at all and it didn’t give me the dramatic end result I was hoping for given how much it cost. For this reason I wouldnt repurchase and would probably use a salicylic acid toner niacinamide serum going forwards.

was really hoping this would work
I tried this on a few cystic acne scars that I had after the spots had healed. It was more that purple/brown color. I used this 2x daily for months and didn't see anything fading that was any different than how it would fade naturally. So it didn't seem worth it to me to use if it didn't fade it any quicker.
