Nice but not much coverage
I once used a brilliant eye base cover which made my eyes pop and was lovely to wear...and keep trying to replace it. This still isn't it. As I age, the skin around my eyes has darkened and I was hoping this would help, but it really is quite light and doesn't work as a base at all. Perhaps choose a few shades darker than your skin if you wanted to try?

Won't buy again
I find this to be too creamy for my very very oily eye lids. I was hoping it would somehow be more matttifying. I still use it because it's good at hiding small red veins near my eyelashes but i have to use it over the top of something else, like Mac or UD. I will continue to use it up since it was so expensive but I won't be buying it again. If you don't have oily lids I expect it would be great.

The best eye base
This eye base is sooo good. Its really brightening so can be worn alone with no shadow on top and it really makes your eyes pop. Its also a great base for cream and powder shadows. I cant recommend this product enough. I've tried many in the past and wont be going back now. I already purchased this one 3 times over and will continue to do so.

LIKE IT
This product is really good for making your eye make up last for hours. It is very easy to use, glides smoothly on the eye lids, giving them a base layer to work on. It is also great if you want your eye lids to get bright color and to erase any discoloration before you apply makeup.

Great find
I purchased the Chantecaille Next Generation Eye Base originally in the colour Light, but despite being very fair skinned found it just too light for me. After my usual eye base was discontinued and I was unable to find an alternative I purchased the Chantecaille base in Medium and am really glad I did. It is a much better base colour, adding a little warmth to the eye area. My shadow stays all day and I have almost no creasing. I would caution that a little goes a long way and over application can be a little chalky as others have commented, but overall I am very pleased with the medium shade.
