worth the hype
I think this is one of their bestsellers if not the top one. It's a mixture of soft and fuzzy white scents and fresh florals with a hint of soapiness. The base has white musk and patchouli which gives a feeling of skin on white linen. The middle notes have rose, iris and orange blossom, which is an incredibly fresh and delicate mixture of florals that give a light sparkle. The top notes include aldehyde, lily of the valley, and pear, giving the fresh soapy neutrality that ties this whole thing together. The candle itself is gorgeous and feels heavy in the hand. The smell diffuses great, fills the whole room.

I had high hopes for this candle as their perfumes are so lovely…. Although the scent was really lovely and clean smelling it totally didn’t last or fill the room, I was a bit gutted as these candles are not cheap. You could only smell it if you went right up close. And the packaging felt a bit cheap

Fresh and floral side
The previous reviewer who expected a “powdery and cottony” smell might want to try out the “Bubble Bath” from Replica. This one is slightly more on the floral and even spicy side. I lit it for the first time this afternoon and it quickly filled my room with a sweet floral scent.

Not for me
Scent is a really personal thing and - foolishly - I bought this based on reviews rather than smelling it in person. The description made me imagine a powdery, cottony smell (something like baby lotion,,,?) However, to me, it smelled straightforwardly floral. Not something that I enjoy. Packaging was chic. If you like floral then this might suit you.

My Alt Favorite
I cycle between Lazy Sunday Morning and By the Fireplace. At first I worried that this was going to be too sweetly floral, but the musk really grounds it. When you look at the scent notes, it doesn't seem like anything special, but they really have created the perfect ratios and it is really unlike any other candle scent. There's nothing in Diptyque/Byredo/LeLabo to compare to. I actually do burn this on Sundays while catching up on my reading and it is so relaxing. Something I look forward to!
