More Citrus Than Rose
I love this brand, and was so happy this was included in a GWP. It's rich, and lathers well. The scent is fresh and lovely. However the name is misleading because the citrus notes dominate, and you may be disappointed if you're looking for a rose scent. Leaves the skin feeling clean but not stripped.

No scent
I expected a luxurious rose scented shower gel and I was very disappointed. There is practically no scent which is not what I want from a shower gel. Although it lathered up well and left my skin clean and soft, the lack of scent was underwhelming. I was surprised by this since other Bamford shower gels that I have tried have very strong scents.

Lovely
This is not a traditional rose. On Bamford’s own website they say “ Inspired by the hand-tended blooms growing in the walled garden at Daylesford House, the Rose scent features notes of bright lemon and orange, balanced with tranquil chamomile to complement the precious rose head note.” so you get the citrus and the chamomile coming through too which personally, I love. It’s subtle but not too subtle and not at all drying. I love the packaging too!

Disappointing
I was excited to try this. I thought the hype and price indicated I was in for a luxury, skin softening, rose scented shower. The smell was underwhelming, it wasn't subtle or gentle, just 'not really there'. The consistency is thin and whilst it didn't irritate and did clean my body, it just didn't give me the feeling I was using an expensive shower gel. The green packaging is nice.

Underwhelming
For the price, you'd think the smell and texture of this product would be pretty good. But it was a clear gel texture that didn't feel like anything special, and the rose smell was really quite subtle and didn't smell extravagant in anyway. For this price I'd definitely expect a bit more of a luxury experience
