The Happi Scalp™ Scrub uses a blend of six antioxidant plant oils, which include marula, mongongo, baobab and maracuja, combined with a quick-absorbing multi-amino acid blend to help protect the scalp and rejuvenate the skin.
Apply directly to the scalp when hair and scalp are dry. Allow to sit for between 5 and 10 minutes, then massage the exfoliating cellulose beads through and rinse thoroughly. For best results, pair with the Drunk Elephant Cocomino™ Shampoo and Conditioner. Use one to two times a week.

Great for body
I need a good scrub or peeling, I really like the feeling after I use it. This is a great one but not for a scalp. It gets into my hair and it is very difficult to get it out of there, I still find the bits in my hair. However, I use it on my body snd it is excelent. The combinations of AHA and the peeling bits is incredible, my skin is really soft and smooth.

Annoyingly good!
By the time I finally managed to get a bit of this out of the tube and on to my scalp I was ready to hate it - the packaging is awful! Add in the smell, which I wasn't a fan of, and I was rubbing it in to my hair irritated that I'd bothered. But it is SO good! It really works on my hair, and leaves it bouncy and healthy, and my scalp feeling hydrated! I was ready to never buy again, but I think I'll have to reconsider because the results are absolutely worth it.

So and so
First off, scalp scrubs, even if rather viral lately, are really something you are missing on, if you haven't tried them. They do provide a much deeper cleanse, and it's worth it to go through the experience once a week. This one in particular is unimpressive. The packaging, though well meaning, is annoying because after about half a bottle you have to squeeze a lot to get the product out - the product is also of a thicker consistency, which doesn't help. I found it took some pressure to work this through the roots, and I don't like the risk of breaking my hair. Would not repurchase, there are softer options out there.

Will not wash out and yes it gets worse!
Avoid this at all costs! I was so happy to try it however it has now been over a week and I still cannot get the tiny beads off my scalp!! I have washed my hair numerous times to remedy this and they are not budging! I am beyond disappointed and super frustrated! Another issue I had that’s a definite dealbreaker, it is impossible to get it to the root. It goes on 1/4 inch from scalp and that’s where it stays. It magnetizes to your strands where it then stays FOREVER. 0/10 never again! It also set my scalp on fire! I couldn’t even make it the full 10 minutes before wash out, and yes my scalp was sore and inflamed for the first 2-3 days after. I immediately disposed of the product and I hate to waste money! Drunk elephant if you see this please tell me how I can get rid of these tiny beads once and for all!!!!!
